Don'd merely show what the subject is; show what it ins't, show what means, show why it is, how it is, from whom it is, where it is, and/or when it is.
Imagine a novel with only descriptions; without plot, motivation, depth, crisis, or crescendo, a novel would by merely a catalog of object descriptions. It is the same with photographs."
